biophysics blog, due 8/13/18

1.       Would you support the development of a “bionic” person?
What I am interpreting from this question is that a totally created humanoid self-thinking  machine is created. With this understanding, I do not support its development. I believe that bionic parts might be useful to mankind, but it depends on the part.  I don’t trust human kind’s ability to regulate or decide the best use of artificial intelligence, especially with our current society.

2.       Would your view change if this were for a military purpose?
No. I think we should evolve and move past wars to resolve conflicts. I believe that if people want wars, they should be the ones that foot the bill for them and offer up their own families to fight them.
